        BETA XI CHAPTER

Phi Sigma Sigma arrived on Cornell's campus in the Fall of 2011 with a founding class of nearly one hundred women. The current Phi Sig chapter is a group of extremely impressive women who are involved in countless campus organizations and alumnae who are doing amazing things all over the world. Our newly renovated house is located at 14 South Avenue on Cornell's campus.

The international Phi Sigma Sigma organization was founded in 1913 at Hunter College in New York after differences in religion prohibited a group of friends from joining the same sorority. Since then, Phi Sigma Sigma has been recognized as a progressive and successful philanthropic and social organization.

Phi Sigs are bold and motivated. We aspire, achieve and aim high. Our unique philanthropic events have grown to be some of the most popular on campus, including our annual Covered in Color 5K Run and our annual Golf Outing.

BETA XI RECRUITMENT

At Cornell University the Panhellenic Association recruitment week takes place every January before classes begin. Recruitment is an exciting process where we welcome a new pledge class into our chapter. The process involves meeting all of the potential new members, giving tours of our house, and introducing what it means to be a Phi Sig.

Sign up here for Cornell Panhellenic Formal Recruitment!

We realize that Recruitment Week can be overwhelming but we want everyone to feel as welcome as possible. We cannot wait to meet all of the amazing potential members!
